Fleet Readiness Programs

The Naval Submarine Base New London Fleet Readiness division encompasses Morale, Welfare and Recreation, or MWR programs, Child & Youth Programs, as well as Food Service Galleys. MWR programs include fitness and sports, clubs & catering, movie theaters, libraries, golf courses, bowling centers, marinas and outdoor recreation, the single sailor/liberty program, information, tickets and travel, recreational lodging, special events and deployed forces support. By providing quality support services to active duty, reserve and retired personnel and their family members, these programs contribute to the retention, readiness, and mental, physical and emotional well being of our Sailors and their families.
